1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GlobalTeachingBlock AI ('GTB AI', 'the Service', 'we', 'us'), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and premium subscribers.

2. Description of Service

GTB AI is an AI-powered lesson planning platform designed for educators. The Service generates structured, standards-aligned lesson plans using a locked 11-component pedagogical framework. We serve the USA Common Core State Standards (Grades 1–8) and the Trinidad & Tobago Ministry of Education curriculum (Infants A, Infants B, Standards 1–6). Additional grades and regions may be added over time.

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to access the lesson generation features of the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

GTB AI offers a free tier with access to Grades 1 & 2 (USA) curriculum and a limited number of lesson generations per month. Premium subscriptions unlock Grades 3–8 (USA), T&T Standards 1–6, unlimited lesson generation, and advanced AI teaching tools including Differentiation Packs, Assessment Generator, Weekly Unit Planner, Parent Communication Generator, and Substitute Teacher Pack. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.

5. Payments and Billing

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. GTB AI does not store your payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property

The GTB AI platform, including its design, code, pedagogical framework, and branding, is the intellectual property of GTB AI. Lesson plans generated through the Service are provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish generated content as your own product without written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

• You may use GTB AI only for lawful educational purposes.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or curriculum data.
• You may not use the Service to generate content that is harmful, discriminatory, or inappropriate for educational settings.
• You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

GTB AI is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated lesson plans will meet every specific curriculum requirement or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Educators are responsible for reviewing and adapting generated content before use in the classroom.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTB AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or educational outcomes. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
